Bec is a caring and empathic practitioner who is passionate about working with adolescents and adults to reduce psychological distress and improve quality of life. Bec emphasises the importance of creating a non-judgemental and respectful environment for her clients.

Bec completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at the University of Queensland, and a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She is a generally registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).

Bec listens intently to her clients and provides validation and support. She draws from evidence based interventions and strategies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She values collaborating with her clients and adapting her approach to suit the needs of each individual. Bec also has a particular interest in assisting her clients to develop greater self-compassion.

Bec has previously worked in government, non-government and private organisations with individuals experiencing complex mental health, substance use and social difficulties. Bec is interested in supporting people experiencing a wide range of concerns including:
